And they finally had some damn money...oh wait never mind...Hey Chris can we borrow $800 bucks. On a chance meeting Todd met up with Grant Fitch (Paw) during a day when Todd worked at The Phil Zone. Todd got on the subject of recording and Grant mentioned his current engineer who had just finished Paws last record. Within a week or two Todd met up with Grant and his engineer j.hall. After listening to a few of j.'s projects Todd was sold and went on to get Tom and Wayne on board. after some discussion on being broke, they all knew they needed to get a good recording to progress further then the 3 bar Mass Street tour. The call went to Chris Rome begging for funds and the date was booked. Trucker tracked day into the night for two nights at Wheeler Audio (KCMO) and once again Trucker was lucky and found an engineer with energy, patience and input. Originally Trucker was to record 5 songs but ran short on time and money so "Toys" had to be left on the sound booth floor. After the release of the home burned, labeled and sealed "Go Out" Trucker started to get more local airplay, was featured on FarmClub, received notice form the B.E.A.M grant awards, headlined locally on Tour De Fat regional tour, and was named in 2002 by the CMJ as one of the nations Top 50 unsigned bands.
